We want to inform you that our Valentine’s Day Glow Dance has been rescheduled. Please mark your calendars for the new date and time:

• New Date: Friday, February 20th

• Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

We sincerely apologize for the late notice and any inconvenience this change may cause. We understand that families plan ahead for school events, and we truly regret any disruption to your schedules. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and continued support.

Our goal remains to make this a fun, safe, and memorable event for our students!

• If you can attend: We look forward to seeing you on the 20th!

• If you cannot attend: For parents who purchased an admission ticket but are unable to join us on the new date, please stop by the front office for assistance.

We are excited to announce that Moye Elementary will be hosting Career Day on May 22, 2026! 🎉 This special event is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about different careers and be inspired by the amazing adults in our community. 🌎✨

We would love to invite parents and guardians to participate by coming in to share about your career. 👩‍⚕️👨‍🔧👩‍🏫👩‍💼 Whether you work in healthcare, construction, education, business, public service, technology, the arts, or any other field, your story and experiences can have a meaningful impact on our students. 🚀

🌟 REMINDER: EARLY RELEASE TODAY AT NOON 🌟

Moye families, please note that students will have early release at 12PM today, Wednesday, February 11. ✅

Please plan ahead for student pick-ups, as all faculty and staff will be engaged in professional development following dismissal and will not be available to supervise late pick-ups. We appreciate your support in ensuring students are picked up on time.

Here are the key events happening this week:
📘 STAAR Interim Assessments
• Tuesday, February 10 – Reading STAAR Interim (Grades 3–5)
• Thursday, February 12 – Math STAAR Interim (Grades 3–5)
• Friday, February 13 – Science STAAR Interim (Grade 5)

Your support makes a big difference! 💪 Student attendance on testing days helps build confidence, show growth, and set students up for success. Please encourage your child to be present, well-rested, enjoy breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Together, we can help them do their best! 🌟✏️

⏰ Early Release Reminder
• Wednesday, February 11 will be an early release day.
• Student dismissal will be at 12:00 PM.
💖✨ Valentine’s Day Glow Dance
To celebrate a week of STAAR accomplishments, we will be hosting our Valentine’s Day Glow Dance on
Friday, February 13 from 4:00–5:30 PM.
🎟️ Ticket Information
• $1 entrance fee
• Food & drink tickets: $1 for 6 tickets before the event. Day of the event $1 for 4 tickets
🎁 Donations Needed
We are accepting donations of:
• Hot Cheetos
• Glow sticks
• Capri Suns
• Can Sodas
