El Paso Independent School District will hold a public meeting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the El Paso ISD Administration Building, 1014 N. Stanton St.

The meeting will be conducted in person or via video conference, which will be audible to the Board and the public, allowing for two-way communication.

The public may access this meeting through www.episd.org/page/boardlive

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the El Paso Independent School District’s rating on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).

Fall Intersession begins this Wednesday, October 8. There will be no school from October 8 through October 17.

If your student was invited to attend Intersession, we welcome them from October 8 to October 10!

El Paso ISD will be closed during the week of October 13-17 for Fall Break. Accelerated instruction will be held from October 8-10 for students who are scheduled to attend.

Our Tom Lea Boosterthon event was incredible! Thank you to our volunteers who made this a fun experience for our students.

We had a school-wide challenge to hit a goal of $35,000 to go toward school improvements and as a school, we would have a movie day in class! We didn’t quite make it, but to see if we can still reach our goal, the fundraising platform, MyBooster.com, will remain open for one more week!

As a school, we reached 92% registration, so awesome job! The two classes who will be receiving a pizza party are Mr. Wood's 2nd grade class & Ms. McGee's PreK class. The winner of the Chuck E. Cheese Sweepstake has also been announced, so check your e-mails to see if your student won!

School Wide Tutoring will be cancelled for all on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 to allow students and staff to begin a restful Intercession Break. Tutoring will resume on Tuesday, October 21st.
