🌟 GT Testing Referrals Are Open! 🌟
The referral window for Gifted & Talented (GT) testing is now open through September 30th. This year, referrals will be submitted online instead of with paper forms. Please use the following link to complete your referral: https://tinyurl.com/zhn7vdh9
📌 Testing Schedule:
2nd Grade: All students will be tested in September
1st, 3rd–5th Grades: Testing begins in October
Kinder: Testing begins in January
👉 Please keep in mind that the GT referral window closes on September 30th. Once it closes, the next opportunity to submit a referral will be during next school year.

As we prepare for the first day of school on Monday, August 4, we want to share information about the bus routes for the 2025–26 school year. These changes are designed to ensure safe and efficient transportation for all students.

We’re excited to kick off a great year with our Western Hills 101 event tomorrow from 3:30–4:00 PM in the cafeteria.
🅿️ Family Parking:
Parking will be available in the lower parking lot. Please do not park in the front driveway or the staff parking lot.
We kindly ask for your patience—parking may be a challenge on Friday and Monday due to our increased enrollment. We’re working through a few first-week adjustments, and we appreciate your flexibility as we roll out the kinks. We will have staff outside to help you navigate where to park.
🚪 Enter the building through the gym entrance, sign in, and follow the guidance provided to help you navigate.
📄 Important Reminder:
If you have not uploaded your utility bill or required documents, please bring them with you.
Students will not be able to start school or receive their teacher assignment without all documents.
⏳ Please note: Not having your documents ready will delay your ability to attend Meet the Teacher.
We highly encourage you to upload documents in advance or stop by the office before the event to avoid delays.
📚 At 4:00 PM, our Meet the Teacher event will begin.
All families will start in the cafeteria before heading to their children’s classrooms.
