Dear El Paso ISD,
With less than two weeks until the start of the new school year, we are thrilled to welcome everyone back; including our teachers who are back on July 29. We have a range of exciting events planned, including our annual Back to School Fiesta on Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31. These events will take place at all our high schools, with each campus hosting its own tailored celebration. We look forward to the energy and community spirit these events will bring.
Additionally, mark your calendars for the first day of school on Monday, August 5. We are eager to welcome our students back for another successful year. Whether you're starting a new educational journey or concluding your academic career with us, we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
Next month, we are also excited to support our teachers at the 2024 ESC Teacher of the Year awards on Saturday, August 10. We wish our outstanding educators the best of luck as they compete with some of the best in the region.
Lastly, we'd like to announce that our new website and app are now live! As we approach the new school year, we encourage you to download the app. You can find detailed information about the app and its download process here. The app includes a new communication tool called Rooms, which enables secure two-way messaging between families and their child’s school. Teachers can send broadcasts, announcements, and messages to parents, guardians, and students, while guardians can also message teachers and staff directly. If you have any questions, please contact your campus for support.
