Good afternoon parents. We will be launching our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year with Vertical Raise on Nov 4th. Vertical Raise is a streamlined online platform that allows us to raise funds digitally through email, text, and social media. Through these mediums, supporters can visit our fundraiser page and help us reach our goal of $30,000. These funds will be used to purchase a digital marquee sign for the front of our school and/or a Concession Truck. The vertical raise representative is Mrs. Linda Miner. She will be here for our launch on Nov 4th to help our students get set up. The only thing they will need is a list of 10 phone numbers and/or 20 emails of friends, family and supporters. Corporate sponsors are welcome.
Thank you,
YWA PTSO

Good evening families,
YWA is hosting our annual HB5 Night for 8th grade students & families. This is your opportunity to learn and understand about high school endorsements and how they serve students' post-secondary plans. We will serve free hot dogs & nachos from 5:00-5:30, give you an opportunity to speak with the Program Leads and then the EPISD & YWA College Readiness presentation will follow. The event will finish at 6:30pm. This is an important meeting to ensure your student has the correct endorsement plan.
Please call the Counseling Team if you have any questions.
