(EL PASO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – March 24, 2025) — The road to the state championship continues for six El Paso ISD soccer teams as they advance to the Area Round of the UIL playoffs after being crowned Bi-District Champions.
Three girls’ soccer programs – Andress, El Paso High, and Chapin – and three boys’ soccer programs – Bowie, Burges, and Irvin – will represent the district in the next stage of the postseason. These teams have demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the season, and they are now set to face tough competition in their upcoming matches.

“We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes and their dedication to representing El Paso ISD at the highest level,” said David Cervantes, El Paso ISD Executive Director of Athletics. “Their hard work and resilience have paid off, and we are excited to see them compete in the next round. We encourage our community to show their support as these teams continue their journey in the UIL state playoffs.”
