This April, we proudly celebrate the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of our military-connected students and their families. Your stories matter, and our campus is honored to recognize and support you.

We have several exciting events planned throughout the month, leading up to a very special evening on April 23rd. ✨ Join us for a chance to win a Pioneer Pride Tumbler: Purple Up Edition. ✨

• April 9 | Operation Purple Power: Gymnastics with SKIESUnlimited | STUDENT ONLY EVENT - 1st and 2nd grade only during their scheduled PEtime 🤸

• April 13, 4PM - 5:30PM| Purple Stories: Art Through a Military Child's Eyes | First 30 people get a FREE canvas, thank you Grand Canyon University! 🎨

• April 23, 4PM - 6PM | Through Our Eyes: A Military Child Celebration | Join us for an author reading at 4:15PM, enter a raffle to win a helicopter ride with Red Arrow Flight Academy, reflect on Military Child Art, and more! 🎟️

We are thrilled to officially share that ✨ Graciela Tiscareño-Sato ✨, Air Force veteran and author, will be joining us as a special guest for a live reading of Captain Mama as part of our Military Child Celebration on April 23rd at Dr. Torres Elementary! 👏🇺🇸

In just 2 hours, we will be hosting “Families & Deployment: Let’s Talk About It” led by the Fort Bliss School Liaison Office.

This parent-only workshop is a supportive space to connect, share, and gain tools for navigating the challenges of deployment alongside other military families.
