Barron 5th Graders had a great time learning about Middle School on Thursday, 2-26-26, at 3:30 p.m. Students played a Get To Know Me Bingo Game followed by an exciting game of Jeopardy. Parents also learned about H. E. Charles Middle School and had fun watching their children participate in this fun and educational event. On Saturday, 2-21-26, Zia Medina, Arielle Thomas, Eduardo Sierra, Cruz Hernandez, Erica Durner, Davian Tarin, Kaya Garcia, Graciela Rodriguez, and Kayden Bustillos represented Charles at UTEP for National History Day. Davian Tarin won an Outstanding Entry for Leadership in History for his project on Alexander Hamilton and a huge congratulations to Kaya, Graciela, and Kayden for a 1st place win out of 20 on their project over “Radium Girls.” They will be representing Charles in Austin for NHD State Competition this April! Thank you NHD participants for all your hard work and dedication!!!
