Students in Grades 3–5 will be taking their 3rd Nine Weeks Benchmarks in Science and Social Studies, along with the Reading Benchmark.

Wednesday, February 25: TELPAS Listening and Speaking
TELPAS (Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System) measures students’ English language development and is a required state assessment. The results help ensure students receive appropriate instructional support and services.
Student attendance is extremely important on these testing days.
TELPAS assessments must be completed within a specific testing window, and absences may require students to test on make-up days, which can be more stressful and disruptive to instruction. Being present and on time allows students to test in a calm, familiar environment and do their very best.
To support your child, please help us by:
Ensuring your child attends school on testing days
Avoiding appointments or early pick-ups during testing times
Making sure your child gets plenty of rest and arrives to school on time
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. If you have any questions regarding TELPAS testing, please feel free to contact the school.
