This day is dedicated to recognizing the unique challenges and strength of military-connected kids. Why Purple? Purple symbolizes the joint services of the U.S. military, combining the colors of all the branches: Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Navy blue, and Marine Corps red.
