This afternoon, our campus conducted a scheduled lockdown drill as part of our ongoing commitment to student safety. I want to assure you that students and staff responded calmly and appropriately, and the drill was completed successfully.
Lockdown drills are a required part of our safety procedures and help ensure that students and staff know exactly what to do in the event of an emergency. Please know that there was no threat to the campus at any time; this was strictly a practice drill.
Please talk with your child this evening about the drill and reassure them that these safety practices are in place to keep everyone protected.
