The office of Family & Community Engagement, in collaboration with El Paso ISD's Department of Equity & Community Engagement, works to bridge the gap between our families, communities, and the school. We work closely with TMECHS's Student Activities & Community Engagement to plan various events that allows students to showcase their talent and leadership skills with community interaction and growth.

Workshops and presentations we hold are:

  • College Readiness (i.e., Dual Credit, Advance Placement, Pre-AP, Awareness, etc.)

  • College Admissions ( i.e., scholarships, SAT, ACT, FAFSA, etc.)

  • Assessments (i.e., Benchmarks, End of Course, TELPAS, etc.)

  • Communicating with School and Teachers

  • Special Education Information (i.e., RTI, ARD, 504, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.)

  • Health and Wellness

  • Technology

  • Attendance Requirements

  • Title 1 Annual Meeting Fall and Spring Sessions

  • Bully Prevention and Interventions
