We hope your school year is off to a great start! We’d like to invite all Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Orchestra parents to our Orchestra Parent Meeting this Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the YWA School Library.
During this meeting, we will:
Review the 2025–2026 Music Calendar
Go over the Orchestra Supply List
Review the Orchestra Handbook
Provide time for Q&A to address any questions you may have
This is a great opportunity to stay informed and connected with your child’s musical journey. If you are unable to attend, I’m happy to share the meeting files with you afterward.
📌 Instrument Purchases: If you are considering purchasing an instrument, please don’t hesitate to ask questions! Not all instruments are created equal, and I’m happy to help guide you toward quality options that will support your child’s success.

Dear YWA Families, All buses have arrived. We are working with transportation to make sure students arrive on time tomorrow. Bus drivers are acclimating to their new schedules. It will get better! The last bus arrived at 8:50am, all students were fed breakfast if they wanted to eat and are now in their classrooms. We adjusted our daily schedule, switching advisory to the first period, then students transitioned to 5th period so they do not miss instruction.
