Powell Parents, next week all Income Determination and Impact Aid Surveys are due to central office. As this paperwork directly affects campus funding, we ask that all paperwork be turned in no later than Tuesday, October 28th. If forms are not turned in by Tuesday, we will be asking those parents to pick up their child from dismissal in a designated area. We would like to thank all parents who have completed this process. 📣 Powell Elementary will celebrate Red Ribbon Week Oct. 27–31! Students will take part in fun dress up days to promote healthy, drug-free choices. Please see the attached photo for details.

Fitness Friday will be held this Friday, October 24! Parents are invited to join their child’s class during their PE time for some fun and active movement together. Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for check-in, and don’t forget to bring your driver’s license. (Unfortunately, our scanner is unable to properly capture military IDs.) We can’t wait to see you there and share this fun fitness experience with our Rangers!

Powell Parents of Intramural participants, Volleyball intramurals will begin Monday 10/20 with 3rd and 4th grade, and 10/22 with 5th grade. Beginning 10/27 it will be 3rd on Mondays, 4th on Tuesdays and 5th on Wednesdays.

El Paso Independent School District will hold a public meeting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the El Paso ISD Administration Building, 1014 N. Stanton St.

The meeting will be conducted in person or via video conference, which will be audible to the Board and the public, allowing for two-way communication.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the El Paso Independent School District’s rating on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).
