On December 4th and 5th, the El Paso Plaza Theatre brought the magic of the holiday season to life with a breathtaking performance of the Christmas classic, The Nutcracker. This beloved ballet follows the enchanting tale of Clara, a young girl who receives a nutcracker as a Christmas gift from her godfather. After her brother accidentally breaks it, her godfather repairs the treasured gift. Clara falls asleep with the nutcracker under the Christmas tree, dreaming of grand adventures, epic battles, and magical lands.

In her dream, she confronts the fearsome Mouse King, portrayed by none other than our own TMECHS dance teacher, Mr. Rodriguez! As a true embodiment of creativity and expression, Mr. Rodriguez continues to inspire both on and off campus. We are so proud of his incredible performance and the artistry he brings to our school and the stage. Bravo, Mr. Rodriguez!
